More Information

The staff are the backbone of this organization. Our goal is to make working at ORH much more than a job; we want it to be a fulfilling career! We use an ACT-ON approach: Accountability, Compassion & Care, One Team, Open & Honest Communication and Nurture Respect. Together, we create a work environment that is professional, supportive and flexible.

We employ full time, part time, and casual staff and recruit for the positions of Registered Nurse, Registered Practical Nurse, Child Respite Counsellor, Adult Day Counsellor, and Residential Counsellor. We believe in “promoting from within” and many of our staff have moved up the ranks from a casual position, including management.

We provide an extensive on site training program for all employees. Our Directors of Operations & Client Care act as our training coordinators with support from our nursing team. Our nurses and senior counsellors act as “training coaches”, and guide staff through the program using various instructional techniques and role modeling.
